My name is Jason Gillespie. I began my journey through LifeQuest in 2005. I was not at all sure what to expect. Right away I saw the potential benefits of LifeQuest. I was fairly new to Indianapolis, and E91, so to have the opportunity to have an individual to walk beside me and help me to grow in my spiritual walk was exciting. That was one of the things that I felt was missing from my life at that time.
I had taken several Spiritual Gifts type assessments in the past, so this was nothing new to me. However, I have always found them helpful. I am always intrigued to see how my gifts have developed, and some have changed. This often helps me to see where I need to focus my spiritual walk. I feel like sometimes I need to focus on developing the gifts that are weaker. However, most of the time I feel like the Spiritual Walk assessment allows me to focus my involvement in ministry to the areas where I am more likely to benefit the Kingdom.
Having someone to help me build a spiritual growth plan has been great. This gives a sense of accountability. Another benefit is that I have someone to help me figure out what goals are achievable, yet growth causing. Having this plan and LifeQuest in general, has really improved my life as a spiritual leader with my life, my giving, my service, and my personal relationship with Jesus. My relationships with other Christians have grown also as a result of LifeQuest, and the growth that occurred.
